The monthly Gayatri Havan was organized on 16th December. In the morning as a cool breeze wafted through Tapovan Hall, all was set and in place for the Havan. As the flames in the havan kund began to rise, the Mukhya Yajaman and Upa- Yajamans followed the directions of Pandit Bhushan as they performed the Gayatri Havan. Later they were joined by the archaks who also offered aahuti.

Swami Prakarshananda was present to ensure that every single step of the Havan is performed correctly. The preparation and procedure is always under Swamiji’s strict supervision and watchful eyes. The Havan is performed with love and devotion. It is a sublime and uplifting experience and partaking in it brings peace and joy.
