RAMA JANMA UTSAV: CELEBRATING DEVOTION

Every year, devotees eagerly await Rama Janma Utsav to celebrate the avatar of the Supreme in the form of Shri Rama. Preparations to adorn the altar with beautiful fresh blooms and to create an enchanting, fragrant atmosphere to welcome the Lord began early in the morning.

Members of Swaranjali initiated the festivities with melodious bhajans. Shri Umesh Sharma conducted the puja, and Shri Ram Avatar was the Mukhya Yajman. The chanting of shlokas and mantras filled the space with devotion. Thereafter, abhisheka and pushpanjali were offered with reverence as devotees welcomed Baby Rama into the world. The Bala Vihar children contributed to the celebration with sweet bhajans that delighted one and all. After the aarti, everyone gathered in the Tapovan Hall for prasad, where laughter and love filled the space, highlighting the Chinmaya Family spirit of the occasion.
