‘Devotion to Divinity’

 On a pleasant Sunday morning, the 18th of February, the youth of Delhi NCR congregated at CM Delhi for their enlightening session with Swami Swaroopanandji, the esteemed Global Head of Chinmaya Mission. The topic: Devotion to Divinity.

Swamiji exuding warmth and wisdom, delved into the essence of true love, and his words resonated deeply within us. Love, he emphasized, transcends mere self-interest. It is not about what we gain, but rather what we give—the way flowers release their fragrance, the wind keeps on moving everywhere, and the sun generously bathes the world in light.

Drawing from real-life examples, Swamiji revealed that true love exists “in spite of” everything, not “because of” anything. When we love selflessly, we become conduits for spreading love and kindness. Such love propels us toward goodness, morality, and compassion.

As the session drew to a close, Swamiji graciously fielded questions from the audience. His answers left hearts fuller and minds more enlightened.
