The role of the Marketing team is to accurately promote the vision of Chinmaya Mission through raising awareness and profile of Chinmaya Publications. That includes planning, advertising, public relations, event organisation, distribution, sponsorship and research. We are also responsible for the growth and ongoing management of Chinmaya Prakashan’s social media presence.
As such we liaise with Mission centres, Vidyalayas, retailers, distributors, suppliers, corporates and partner organisations nationally and internationally, regarding stock updates and new product releases. We also actively participate in various promotional events such as book releases, book readings and book fairs across the country.
Chinmaya Prakashan is committed to facilitating other Centre/Vidyalayas/member in any ventures taken up in creating awareness of our publications. One constant and regular effort is to support our members by providing a central folder from which all publicity materials can be accessed and used for specific or generic events.
An FTP folder filled with all relevant promotional ideas and materials which members can contact email@example.com to gain access to the folder. We also encourage feedback and ideas on expanding the folder resources.
Raising the profile of publications involves engaging in on-going projects and consistently developing strategies encompassing short term and long term goals. Hence this requires collaboration with cross-functional teams which is not just limited to the other departments within Chinmaya Prakashan but also that of CCMT and the whole Mission family.
